Its shape which represents a pancake is designed to emphasize proper fielding technique along with developing soft hands. Fielding grounders is a great drill to do with this glove. Another effective drill is throw 2 consecutive balls after one another to your player, have him/her miss the first one and field the second, this drill focuses on concentration and keeping you eye on the ball. This can be done with pitching a machine as well, fielding grounders or hitting. The concept is to keep you eye on the ball-always, weather you are hitting or pitching.
